Red light mask vs panel
A face mask and a panel solve different practical problems. A mask stays close to the face and is built around facial use. A panel can cover the face plus other areas, but it requires positioning and space.
Choose around the treatment area
If facial use is the main reason for buying a device, a mask can be convenient. If you expect to use light on the torso, legs, shoulders, or several different areas, a panel is more flexible.
Compare protocols rather than form alone
Distance, wavelength, irradiance, dose, and session instructions differ between devices. A mask sitting close to the skin should not be compared with a panel several inches away using a single output number.
Convenience matters
The device that fits naturally into your routine has a practical advantage. Think about setup time, storage, whether your hands need to stay free, and how many areas you plan to cover.
